Avantis MixPad 1.30

Avantis MixPad offers wireless mobile control for the Allen & Heath Avantis digital mixer, designed as an engineer's mixing tool. It allows for freedom of movement to manage sound precisely where it's required.

Avantis MixPad enables simultaneous control of distinct functions when paired with the Avantis mixer. For instance, one engineer can use the mixer for front-of-house sound mixing while another utilizes an iPad for on-stage monitor mixing. Multiple iPads can be connected, each providing individualized control.

Typically used for live mix and channel processing, Avantis MixPad allows control over:

• Fader levels, mutes, and pan
• Aux and FX sends, routing, and Pre/Post switching
• Matrix sends, routing, and Pre/Post switching
• DCA masters and assignments
• Preamp Gain, Pad, and 48V
• Trim and Polarity
• HPF, Gate, PEQ, NEQ, Comp/Ducker, Delays
• RTA function
• Scene Recall
• Channel names and color
• PAFL select
• Signal Generator Control
• Full signal metering
• 3 Custom strips for personalized channel layout
• 24 SoftKeys (18 on Avantis Solo)
• Tap Tempo
• FX Control
• Library Recall

However, Avantis MixPad is not intended for system setup. The following functions are unavailable via the iPad:

• Input source, insert and output patchbay
• Channel ganging
• Aux source routing options
• Scene Store
• Scene Recall Filters and Safes edit
• Show memory store and recall
• Talkback
• System configuration, options, and preferences
• User Profile management and permissions

Requirements:

An Allen & Heath Avantis mixer with a compatible wireless router or access point connected to one of its Network ports.

This version of MixPad is compatible with Avantis mixers running:

• Avantis Firmware V1.30 or subsequent V1.3x maintenance releases.
• Avantis Firmware V1.20 or subsequent V1.2x maintenance releases when the Firmware compatibility mode setting is enabled. This setting is accessible via iOS Settings / Avantis MixPad. App changes only apply after a restart.
